SCHOOL UNIFORM

Students must come to the school in the prescribed uniform.

 Students uniform for Nursery/ K.G.

Boys - White half shirt, grey half pant with gallise,Black shoes
            and grey socks

 Girls – White shirt, grey tunic, black shoes and grey  socks.

 Students uniform for Std : I - V

 Boys - White half shirt, grey half pant ,Black shoes and grey
            socks.

 Girls – White half shirt, grey skirt, black shoes and grey  socks.

 Students uniform for Std  VI onwards

 Boys - White half shirt, grey trouser.

 Girls – White half shirt, grey skirt, black shoes and grey  socks.

 

P.T. Dress : Girls will wear white tunic/shirts on P.T. day. Boys will wear white trousers. All the students wear white socks and white canvas shoes.

All students must wear ties, belts and badges everyday.

The boys should have a short haircut. Girls having long hair should wear two plaits, white ribbon should be used to tie up their hair. Girls having short hair must use white hair band.

 

Winter Dress

Students will wear maroon woolen “V” neck Pullover/Blazer during winter season. Students of Nursery to Std V will wear trousers. Maroon cap/ Scarf and grey /white stockings can be used by the students.

ü    Come to the school clean, well groomed and in proper uniform with polished shoes.

ü    Remain regular in attendance and never come late to the school

ü    Attend morning prayers and other school activities bring all the text books and the writing materials required for the day.

ü    Study diligently and attentively in the class room, never waste your time in  the school.

ü    Be ready to pick up good habits and shun bad ones, learn the social manners and prepare yourself for healthy citizenship in a democratic society.

ü    Participate in sports ; learn sportsmanship.

ü    Remember that the school is for his/her improvement and growth , so always be willing to respect its discipline and rules framed for the purpose.

ü    Take care of the school property; help to keep it clean and avoid all pencil/ink marks on the walls and furniture. It is your school, so be sincere to its well-maintenance.

ü    Observe complete silence in the library and follow all library rules.

ü    Follow the safety rule in the buses.

ü    Never bring valuables like mobile phones, costly watches and gold ornaments to school.

ü    Be ready to lend a helping hand  at home, teachers and companions.

SCHOOL RULES FOR STUDENTS

1. A student must carry his/her diary and identity card to the school everyday.
2. Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The  school uniform is to be worn everyday and for all the school functions.
3. No shouting or whistling is allowed within the school premises.
4. Care must be taken of all school properties and no student should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs, write or draw anything on the walls or in any anyway damage things belonging to others.
5. Students are advised to keep their classrooms, school building/campus as neat as possible and throw left over into the dustbins only.
6. Lending or borrowing of money and other articles is not permitted.
7. Bridgeboard students should be polite wherever they go .They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct .They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences.
8. The school reserves the right to dismiss the student whose diligence or progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to others.
9. If there is any difficulty the student must not hesitate to contact the principal, Head Mistress or Class teacher

SUGGESTIONS   FOR PARENTS

1. Please ensure that your child should come to the school in proper and neat school uniform.
2. Name of the child should be written on each belonging of the child. Do not allow your child to bring costly\dangerous items to the school. School will be not responsible for any article lost.
3. Absence of your child from school for attending social functions should be discouraged. It is essential that the school be informed when child is unable to attend the school. Children should not be absent on the closing day/reopening day or whenever there is a school function.
4. Since the child will be observed on the basis of his regular performance, parents are advised to attend their child regularly. Check your child’s Diary regularly.
5. To receive the child back from the school, someone should be there at the bus stop. If a child is wanted back at home urgently for any reason during school hours, the escort should have a written note from the parents bearing the signatures identical to his/her specimen signature entered in the admission form/diary.
6. Child should not be sent to school if suffering from any infectious disease or if there are such cases at home. In case of illness, application must reach the school without delay. 
7. To inculcate self discipline among children, parents are expected to be strict in punctuality, regular attendance, habitually cleanliness and truthfulness
8. The child should be encouraged to cultivate a feeling a feeling of respect for teachers.
9. If the child is not making desired progress, discuss with the teacher/ principal with prior appointment or on the parent-teacher meeting. Guardians will not discuss with their wards or teachers in the class-rooms without the permission of the in charge/Head Mistress.
10. You can be proud of your child if you care for him/her.
